Texans star J.J. Watt posted a list on Twitter consisting of thoughts that NFL players are having prior to the start of opening training camps. Watt stated in his twitter post: "We want to play" and had NFL Players Association phone calls with various players within the last week or two. Even though Watt encourages players to resume football season, he wants everyone to be safe.

Michaela Childs was part of a wrestling team at a middle school in California and grew up wanting to be active in the sport. She said, "I started with the very basics. I got the moves down pretty well, but I was going against kids with a lot more experience. I just had to keep going regardless." She was able to accomplish this task.

The delivery services company FedEx is considering removing their signage from the Washington Redskins stadium, unless the team changes it's name. FedEx mailed a private letter to the team saying they want to take down their signs at the end of the 2020 NFL football season. The shipping company currently has a huge money deal with the sports team.

UConn has been readmitted to the Big East, since leaving the conference seven years ago. For 34 years, the school was part of the conference before leaving in 2013. The news was announced in the summer of 2019, but nothing was permanent until July 1.

According to John Breech of CBS Sports, the NFL preseason will not have half of their games this year because of COVID-19. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports says, "There will be two weeks worth of missed preseason games." Games starting in Week 1 and going through Week 4 will not be played. The Hall of Fame Game, which is played every August, will be canceled this year.

Earlier today, Atlanta Hawks basketball player Vince Carter made the announcement of retiring from the NBA after playing for 22 seasons. He played with different teams throughout his career including the Toronto Raptors, the New Jersey Nets and the Dallas Mavericks.

John Swofford, who was hired as the ACC commissioner in April 1997, will step down after the 2020-2021 college football season. He has held the longest occupation as the commissioner, since the ACC was established in 1953.

According to the Associated Press, game rooms, fishing spots, backstage tours, and golf course access will be available to the NBA players when they come to Disney in July 2020. The NBA put a hold on their season earlier this year because several players tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Brad Crawford of 247Sports, Former Alabama freshman Antonio Alfano played at Colorado for a while, but is now considering going to the Buffaloes for the 2020 football season. 247Sports put him at the top of the prospect in 2019 and attended Alabama, before making the decision to transfer to Colorado.
