What a week four showing from Bama players around the league! A great week of football indeed so let's break it down!

Vikings - 31 vs. Packers - 29:

Josh Jacobs (Packers) - A heartbreaker for the Packers as they almost made the comeback for the win. Going 51 yards off 9 carries, and 4 catches for 27 yards, it was a modest day for Josh. Playing from behind for most of the game meant Love would be airing it out more, taking away opportunities for Josh. Expect more usage and a better game next week.

Dallas Turner (Vikings) - A good defensive game from the Vikings, but one in which Dallas did not have a big impact. Yes, he played but no he did not have any tackles or sacks, mostly due to the nature of the game in which the Packers relied on downfield explosive plays. Expect a better game and more impact from Dallas next week.

Will Reichard (Vikings) - Money, Money, Money. That is Will. 4/4 on extra points and 1/1 on fg's. One of the most reliable kickers this year so far. Nothing should change here.

Titans - 31 vs. Dolphins - 12:

Calvin Ridley (Titans) - The struggle continues for Calvin, as Levis is still as inconsistent as ever, only getting Ridley the ball one time. The offense here is heavily reliant on their run game and why would they not be with how Levis is playing? Calvin is capable of popping any given week even with Levis's inconsistency, so do not count him out yet.

Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins) - Another tough night for a Bama receiver and the struggles here are also plagued by subpar quarterback play. Can't fault Waddle here as Tua is still out. Once he's back in the line things should pick back up again, of course, we would love to see this offense click before then, but that remains to be seen.

Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) - Out until week eight at the earliest.

Lions - 41 vs. Seahawks - 29:

Jameson Williams (Lions) - I said at the start of the week watch him blow up over the top. What did he do? He did just that. Catching two balls for 80 yards and a touchdown, helping Goff get a complete game Jamo was electric. The touchdown play alone went for 70 yards and showed the league the versatility and speed that he has. Expect the Lions to continue to find different ways to get him the ball. With a bye week for the Lions this week, expect them to come back in week six as strong as ever.

Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - 14 carries for 79 yards and two touchdowns, one of his best games so far. The Lions love to run the ball and did not shy away from using Gibbs on the goal line this week. It doesn't seem like there's any slowing down for Gibbs' usage.

Brian Branch and Terrion Arnold (Lions) - Both had great defensive games with Branch garnering 22 tackles and 5 pass breakups, and Terrion with 5 tackles and a Pbu. Both are showing huge impacts on this defense. Big plays from both will continue to happen. Great game from them.

Last week I included an honorable mention, so I decided to make that a weekly thing, changing it to player of the week going forward; and boy is this one player deserving of this honor.

Week four Player of the week:

Derrick Henry - What a showing from the Ravens yes, but how they did it is the most surprising. Going into this game the talk was about how Lamar was going to need to be able to push the ball down the field through the air, and wow did they not do that? Instead, they took what they were given, which was a lackluster run defense that had no answer for the King. In his second straight game with over 150 yards on the ground, the king continues to show why the Ravens signed him and prove that he still has it. Going off 24 carries with 199 yards and a touchdown on the ground, and then another 10 receiving with another touchdown, the king balled out. The Bills had no answer and could not get him on the ground, really no one can so expect him to continue to be the main man in Baltimore.

That does it for the week four recap. Check back Thursday for the week five look-ahead. Roll Tide!
