Foster, a Brookwood native, returns to his alma mater after five seasons as  head coach at Priceville, where he posted a record of 40-18 that included three straight playoff appearances. Before heading to north Alabama, he served as offensive coordinator at Brookwood for four years.

Said BHS principal Kellie Hubbard to The Tuscaloosa News: "Our search for a new head football coach began on November 6, With well over 100 applicants, finding the next leader of our football program was a process that I took very seriously.
"With a proven track record and passion for the game coach Foster will bring a fresh perspective of high expectations and accountability. I have no doubt that he is ready to lead our program."

Foster added that for his slogan for the program, he will carry over the same saying he used as Priceville — "Find A Way."
