ESPN’s Jeese Palmer Talks About One of Florida State’s Biggest Weakness

Heading into the biggest season-opener in recent memory, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida State Seminoles have been studying each others strengths while finding out ways to utilize the opposing teams' weaknesses.

Although the Crimson Tide goes into this 2017 season with some question marks in their rotation, the Seminoles offensive line and protecting second-year quarterback Deondre Francois has been a concern for many observers of this Florida State team.

ESPN college football analyst Jeese Palmer joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss the setback on the Seminoles offense.

"Really the offensive line has been an issue for Florida State each of the last two season," Palmer said. "Some of the problems they had is, inconsistency with the lineups, they had a lot of injuries and it effected them last year they had nine different starters had to miss games because of injuries, the year before that eight had to miss."

"Florida State lost their two best offensive lineman to graduation or the NFL. Even though Alabama lost seven guys on defense in the first four rounds of the NFL, they just load. They are going to have an outstanding pass rush in this game and I think that's a real concern for Jimbo Fisher and this offense."

Palmer also talked about how Francois and Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts will fair in their second seasons' under center, and also the other marquee match-up to start the college football season in the Michigan Wolverines and the Florida Gators.
