Bill Curry knows what's it like to coach a success program not only at Alabama but in the SEC.

Curry coached at Alabama for three season and finished with a 26-10 and finished his career with the Crimson Tide as the highest win percentage since Paul "Bear" Bryant before he departed to the Kentucky Wildcats where he spent seven seasons.

He joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss his time at coaching Alabama, what Nick Saban has been able to accomplish for the Crimson Tide, and describe coaching Derrick Thomas.

"You can't describe Derrick Thomas in a few words," Curry said. "He had the kind of flexible, speed, acceleration, intensity that you cant teach or can't even understand it. One night we were at LSU, very tight game, we were not favored in the game, he blocks a point and we win the game. He wasn't even suppose to rush the punter, he was suppose to check the punter and make sure the punter kicked the ball. It was like a miracle, he did that kind of stuff every week."

Curry also discussed Alabama's quarterback competition and how he would manage it from a coaching perspective.

"A coaching dilemma is not having two great quarterback, a coaching dilemma is when he's having no great quarterbacks," Curry said. "Nick Saban is happy to have that embarrassment of riches in those two great players, he'll figure it out."
