Former Alabama Linebacker Wayne Davis Details the Recruitment of Ben Davis [Audio]

On the eve of National Signing Day, former Alabama linebacker Wayne Davis appeared on Inside the Locker Room to share the family perspective of the recruiting process involving his son Ben Davis.

Wayne Davis explained that he wanted Ben to have a wide array of choices and to make his own decisions.

“Ben went into the recruiting process with his options wide open even though I played my ball at Bama. I wanted him to make this decision from his heart.”

Ben’s father Wayne recorded a school record 327 career tackles while playing alongside Cornelius Bennett and Derrick Thomas at Alabama in the mid-1980s.
