Jones was a member of the 2008 Alabama signing class, committing as a five-star wide receiver from Foley, Alabama. From there, the legend of Julio Jones was born as a member of the Crimson Tide.

In his three seasons with Alabama, Jones caught 179 passes for 2,653 yards and 15 touchdowns and helped propel Alabama to an undefeated season in 2009, capped by a victory over Texas in the 2010 BCS National Championship.

He was then drafted No. 6 overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2011 NFL draft, where he immediately became a game changer in the NFC South.

Jones played 13 years in the NFL, with 10 of them coming in Atlanta. Throughout his career, Jones caught 914 passes for 13,703 receiving yards and 66 receiving touchdowns. He also accumulated 163 rushing yards across his 13 seasons. He finished 16th all-time in receiving yards in NFL history and 61st all-time in receiving touchdowns.

In his lone Super Bowl appearance, Super Bowl 51, Jones caught four passes for 87 yards, including an amazing toe-tapping catch in the second half.

Jones was also named an AP All-Pro five times in his career and was named to the Pro Bowl seven times. Dazzling catches like the one in Super Bowl 51 looked routine when Jones was on the receiving end.

Congratulations to Julio Jones on an incredible career, where his next stop will almost certainly be the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
