Former Alabama and Texas Longhorn wide receiver Isaiah Bond turned himself in to the Frisco, Texas Police Department on Thursday morning, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport reported it was related to an outstanding warrant for sexual assault. He posted bond and was immediately released by Frisco PD, according to the report.

Bond also released a statement shortly following the report by Rapoport.

"Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false," the statement read. "I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.  Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review.  I kindly request that all reserve judgment until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”

Bond, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound wide receiver, spent two seasons in Tuscaloosa playing for Alabama. During his time with the Crimson Tide, he caught 65 passes for 888 yards and five touchdowns. He was on the receiving end of Jalen Milroe's 4th and 31 touchdown pass to defeat the Auburn Tigers in the 2023 Iron Bowl.
