Four-Star Linebacker Decommits from Ole Miss
Four-star class of 2024 linebacker Jordan Lockhart has decommitted from Ole Miss.
"I want to take this time to thank head coach Lane Kiffin of Ole Miss football for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level," said Lockhart. "I would also like to thank the Rebel Nation. You are all awesome."
The Calif., native ranks No. 343 nationally, No. 27 in linebackers, and No. 31 in the state of Calif., according to 247SportsComposite.
Lockhart is a familiar face to Alabama as he received an offer from the Crimson Tide in June of 2022 while he was in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to attend a school camp. He also took an unofficial visit to the Capstone back in October of last year.
He was in Tuscaloosa, Ala., over the weekend and tweeted a picture of him and Alabama football head coach Nick Saban the day before his decision to decommit.
"With all the coaching changes happening in college football, I have decided to decommit from The University of Mississippi," said Lockhart. "I will use this time to reevaluate my decision and continue to go through my recruiting process."
According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Alabama has an 18% chance to land the prospect.
