The 6'5 guard is currently a junior at the Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, N.C. Last season, Cosby led the Holy Rams to a 21-6 record and a playoff birth. Oats and the Tide beat out Virginia, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest to acquire the services of Cosby.

The Virginia native will thrive in Alabama's system because he is a lights out three-point shooter for the Rams. As well as being a consistent shooter, Cosby can also guard any player on the court by contesting shots and pick pocketing the ball from the opponents hands.

According to 247Sports, Cosby joins Sam Walters, Mouhamed Dioubate, and RJ Johnson to help the Tide become the third best recruiting class of 2023.  The Crimson Tide currently ranks higher than blue bloods such as Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Villanova, and UCLA.

Alabama is not done with acquiring players for its 2023 class. On Saturday, top-50 recruit Kaden Cooper will be announcing where he play his collegiate career. Cooper will be choosing between Alabama, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Kansas and LSU.
