How Alabama Finished in Early Recruiting
Alabama and Nick Saban remains a recruiting juggernaut.
Saban and his staff put together and signed the nation's second best football class of the 2023 Early Signing Period acoording to the 0n3 Composite Rankings, which are generally considered the nation's most respected and accurate.
Here's how On3 ranked the nation's top 10 classes:
1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Texas
5. Oregon
6. Florida State
7. Auburn
8. Miami
9. Oklahoma
10. Notre Dame
The service did factor in '24 class ,member Ryan Williams Jr. of Saraland, who will officially sign on Feb. 17, the day he turns 17. There are reports that he has already inked but asked UA to hold the announcement until then, but those are not confirmed.
Other SEC schools ranked in the Top 25 by On3 included numbers 11 LSU, 12 Tennessee, 14 Florida, 15 Texas, 19 Ole Miss, 20 South Carolina, 24 Missouri and No. 25 Kentucky. Mississippi State finished 29th and Arkansas was 31st.
