There has been plenty of coverage about Lane Kiffin becoming Alabama's new offensive coordinator. He has been tagged as an "offensive guru," but one PAC-12 writer has quite a different opinion about the former USC head coach.

Ted Miller, a PAC-12 writer for ESPN, joined Ryan Fowler on "The Game" Tuesday evening to talk some college football, and he gave his thoughts about whether or not the PAC-12 will be better than the SEC in the near future.

"I think the PAC-12 is playing better football. There was an injection of money, the facilities are upgrading, the coaches are better... so yeah, I think it has gained on the SEC"

However, Ryan asked him a simple question: "What do you expect from [Lane Kiffin] in Tuscaloosa?" Miller covered Kiffin in the past when he was at USC, and his answer was not what anyone was expecting.

"I certainly have always thought [Doug] Nussmeier as a better play caller than Lane Kiffin."
