Derrick Henry led the Tennessee Titans to a 27-17 win against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

The Titans offense revolves around the threat of Henry running the ball which forced the Packers to do everything they could to prevent the Titans run game. Green Bay's defense was prepared for the run game which let Henry scorch the Packers  twice with his deadly passing accuracy.

The Packers prevented Henry from breaking loose for a majority of the game. The Packers defense held Henry to 87 yards, only allowing 3.1 yards per carry. Henry's longest run of the night only went for nine yards.

Henry rushed for a four-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give the Titans a 14-6 lead. With that touchdown rush, Henry reached 10 touchdowns on the year. It also marked the fifth consecutive year that Henry has scored double-digit rushing touchdowns.

Not only was Henry approaching ten touchdown prior to the game, but he was also nearing 1,000 rushing yards. Henry had 923 rushing yards, just needing 77 rushing yards to reach the mark. Thanks to his 87 rushing yards, Henry eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards in a season for the fourth time in his career.

The Packers opened the second half off with a field goal, but Henry led the Titans back down the field. He caught a 42-yard pass that put the Titans in the red zone. A few plays after the long catch and run, Henry took a handoff, stopped behind the center, and made a jump throw to tight end Austin Hooper for a three-yard touchdown pass.

The touchdown pass was Henry's second pass of the night, previously completing a one-yard pass to Treylon Burks before halftime. Henry had completed four of his five passing attempts prior to this game with two of those being caught for touchdowns.

The Titans are 7-3 on the year and increase their first-place lead in the AFC South.
