Earlier in June, Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos gave the Crimson Tide plenty of bulletin board material, saying that Alabama, "Doesn't have Nick Saban to save them."

At SEC media Days, Crimson Tide stars Deontae Lawson and Tim Keenan III were asked about Castellanos's comments. Lawson and Keenan will be tasked with stopping the mobile Florida State quarterback when the Tide takes on the Seminoles on August 30.

"It definitely ignites us a little bit. We can't really think too much on that," Lawson said. "It's gonna come down to what we do and how we prepare that week. I think all disrespect will be addressed accordingly."

Tim Keenan was asked about it during his open media session at SEC Media Days.

"Disrespect will be addressed," was Keenan's comment.

It simply adds fuel to the fire when the Tide's veteran leaders take that road. Keenan and Lawson are both returning for their fifth seasons at Alabama, with both players coming from within the state. Lawson is a Mobile, Alabama, native, while Keenan is a Birmingham native.

The Tide will take on Florida State on August 30 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
