Mike Rodak Talks Lack of Defensive Communication for Bama

There's no question the Alabama Crimson Tide had a down year on defense thanks in large part to injuries. However, former Alabama defenders Raekwon Smith, Anfernee Jennings and Terrell Lewis had differing views on the root problems at the NFL Combine.

AL.com's Mike Rodak joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to provide a breakdown of the Crimson Tide's 2019 defensive problems stemming from a lack of communication.

During the conversation Rodak discusses what leadership had to say about the 2019 defense, how much the freshman inside linebackers contributed to the struggles, and what's next for the Crimson Tide defense heading into 2020.

He also draws comparisons between Nick Saban and Bill Belichick having spent time covering both and explains why Auburn players think the Tigers have taken over the state.
