PFF Ranks Alabama as the Top Offensive Line in 2025
Offensive line play is often heralded in Tuscaloosa, with the Tide having several top-ten draft picks and award winners along the offensive line during the last 20 years of dominance for the Tide.

In 2023 and 2024, the Tide's offensive line left a lot to be desired. In 2023, the offensive line gave up 44 sacks, and in 2024, it struggled to create separation in the run game. The 2025 offensive line, on paper, is viewed as one of the best in the country.
Led by offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic, the Tide features a pair of prospects that could easily be the best at their position by the time the 2026 NFL draft rolls around. Kadyn Proctor (74) could be the first offensive tackle off the board in the top ten of the 2026 NFL draft, and Parker Brailsford (72) would have been the top center in the 2025 NFL draft had he left Tuscaloosa, according to NFL scouts. Both are back for the Tide in 2025.
Outside of those two, there are areas of concern for the Tide along the offensive line, mainly due to a lack of experience. Wilkin Formby is the expected right tackle for Alabama, but Formby only has two games of starting experience under his belt. At right guard, health is a concern with Jaeden Roberts, who played much of last season banged up.
At left guard, it will be nearly impossible to transition from Tyler Booker to a new starter seamlessly, but that's the goal of Kam Dewberry and Geno VanDeMark, who are competing for the starting left guard job. The Tide is expected to have one of the top offensive lines in the 2025 season, with PFF ranking Alabama as the No. 1 offensive line heading into next season.
