When Tua Tagovailoa goes to South Beach, he won't have to do it alone. The Miami Dolphins selected Reakwon Davis with the 56th overall pick. Davis went in the 24th position in the second round. He becomes the seventh Alabama player and the third defender selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Davis measured at 6-foot-6 and 311 pounds at the NFL Combine this past February. He was the fourth player selected by the Dolphins in this year's draft. He finished his Alabama career with 175 tackles, 11.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one interception.

Davis's best game arguably came in the 2018 National Championship game when he put pressure on Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm and helped stuff the run against the Bulldogs. He also had a massive game against Florida State to open the 2017 season coming off an off-season gunshot wound.

Last season's 56th pick was Mecole Hardman to the Kansas City Chiefs. Hardman signed a four-year $4.9 million contract with the Chiefs. Davis will sign a similar contract with the Dolphins.
