Quarterback has been a position of interest over the past few seasons as it was just a couple of years ago Alabama fans were wondering if it would be AJ McCarron or Phillip Sims taking over for Greg McElroy. Now nearly two years later talk has begun as fans have started to wonder who will take over post-McCarron.

Alabama has challengers on campus including touted red-shirt freshman Alec Morris and true freshmen Cooper Bateman, Parker McCleod and Luke Del Rio have battled out for the backup role in the spring and will continue to do so into the fall.

However, that doesn't mean Alabama is stopping their pursuit of another quarterback in the 2014 signing class. As ESPN Tide Nation's Greg Ostendorf mentioned in the clip above, ESPN 150 and 4 star quarterbacks David Cornwell and Brandon Harris have headlined a list of talented quarterbacks Alabama is looking at to fill their QB slot.
