Grubb Says Tide Will Continue OL Rotations in SEC Play
Alabama's offensive line has left a lot to be desired through the first three games of the season, with the Crimson Tide struggling to establish dominance on the road and not quite able to see success in the run game.

However, Alabama has seen success with certain offensive line packages. While the left side of the offensive line has remained relatively consistent with Kadyn Proctor at left tackle and Kam Dewberry at left guard, the right side of the offensive line has seen a heavy rotation over the last two games against ULM and Wisconsin.
Parker Brailsford has been the mainstay at center, but Geno VanDeMark and Jaeden Roberts have rotated at right guard for the Crimson Tide, and Wilkin Formby and Michael Carroll have rotated at right tackle. Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor said last week he would like to see a starting five established as Alabama heads into SEC play this weekend.
"I don't think it's good to have rotation throughout the full season because you have to have that camaraderie between all five for them to be at one," Proctor said. "But earlier in the season, I guess it's OK to have that rotation. We've shown to win with those rotations going on. So I feel like it's not bad right now, but once we get to those tougher teams, we need those five and we need to stay put."

Does Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb think Alabama is close to establishing a starting five on the offensive line?
"We’ll keep rotating," Grubb said on Monday. "There’s a lot of guys, both, not just for experience and depth, but also keeping guys fresh and keeping them in position where they can play hard for 80 snaps a game."
Alabama will take on Georgia this Saturday in Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
