Williams burst onto the scene in his first season in college football and dominated the early portion of the season for Alabama. In his first college game against Western Kentucky, Williams hauled in two catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns. He was instrumental in Alabama's shocking 41-34 victory over Georgia, catching six passes for 177 yards and the game-winning touchdown against Georgia.

Williams finished the season as the leading receiver for Alabama and the most electric player on the field for the Crimson Tide. He was second on the team with 48 catches, and first in yards with 865 and touchdowns with eight receiving on the year. Williams also contributed in the run game, carrying the ball four times for 48 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Williams did all this at just 17 years old after re-classifying to the 2024 recruiting class, graduating from high school early to enroll at Alabama.

Williams also earned First-Team All-SEC honors, voted on by the coaches across the conference, and Freshman All-SEC honors.

He was named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press as well in his first season of college football.
