Now, Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide are searching for a rim protector to replace Clifford Omoruyi, who is out of eligibility at the end of Alabama's NCAA tournament run.

According to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, seven-foot Bucknell transfer Noah Williamson is scheduling a visit to Alabama.

Williamson, a 7-foot, 250-pound center from Riga, Latvia, has spent three seasons with the Bucknell Bison as the anchor of Bisons' rim protection.

He was named the Patriot League Player of the Year in 2024, averaging 17.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game for the Bison. He helped lead Bucknell to an 18-15 record in the regular season, finishing first in the conference in the regular season. Bucknell fell to Navy in the Patriot League conference tournament semifinals.

Williamson shot 53.8 percent from the floor and 31.8 percent from three-point range in 2024.

He is also receiving interest from other big-time basketball programs, including Kansas, Louisville, and North Carolina, among others.

His top game in the 2024-2025 season came in January in a 75-69 overtime victory over the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles. Williamson scored 32 points on 9-16 shooting from the floor and 14 makes from the free-throw stripe.
