Alabama softball announced good news today on its Twitter by releasing a graphic revealing that all seven seniors would return for an additional year in 2021. Elissa Brown, Taylor Clark, Sarah Cornell, Krystal Goodman, Bailey Hemphill, Claire Jenkins and Alexis Mack have all announced their intentions to return to the program for an extra season. Coach Patrick Murphy will have the largest roster in team history going into 2021.

Elissa Brown and Claire Jenkins were already intending to return next season after suffering injuries this past season and seeking out an extra year due through medical exemption.

The Crimson Tide began this past year ranked number one in the nation but managed a record of only 14-8 prior to the NCAA cancelling its season. With the return of these seniors Alabama heads into 2021 with one of the best rosters in the nation.

The Crimson Tide return two pictchers, two outfielders and two infielders along with Hemphill who is one of Alabama's best hitters in program history. Hemphill holds the single-season record for homeruns (26) and RBIs (84).
