The great Crimson Tide and New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath turns 77-years old today. Alabama Coach Bear Bryant called "Broadway Joe" "the greatest athlete I ever coached". Born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Joe Namath is one of three Alabama quarterbacks to be honored in the NFL Hall of Fame.

Dwight Stephenson played for the Miami Dolphins from 1980-87 all under legendary coach Don Shula. Stephenson joined The Game with Ryan Fowler today to discuss the passing of his coach and also talk about Tua Tagovailoa getting selected by the Dolphins. Bob Baumhower joined The Jay Barker Show today to remember his late, legendary coach Don Shula. Baumhower played for Shula with the Dolphins from 1977-986. Legendary, Hall-of-Fame coach Don Shula passed away this morning, as first reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. Shula coached the Baltimore Colts and the Miami Dolphins from 1963-1995.

Walter Lewis, the first African-American starting QB at Alabama, joined The Gary Harris Show this morning to talk about tonight's NFL Draft and discuss his football career. The College Football Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for the class of 2020. Among the honorees is former Crimson Tide defender E.J. Junior. Junior played at the Capstone form 1977-80. Junior played defensive end on two national championship winning defenses while he was in Tuscaloosa.

Former Alabama offensive lineman and two-time national champion Bill Searcey joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discusses the current talent at offensive line, and spring practice being the hardest part of the season under Coach Bear Bryant.

Former Alabama quarterback Gary Rutledge joined Wimp and Barry Sanderson to discusses what it was like to play for the legendary coach Bear Bryant earlier this week. Rutledge rushed for 10 touchdowns and 526 yards on 132 carries, while adding 11 touchdowns and 1,188 yards through the air on 79 attempts during his Crimson Tide career...

Last Thursday marked 34 years since Alabama's legendary coach Paul 'Bear' Bryant passed away at the age of 69.
