Three Crimson Tide Stars Earn All-American Status
Tuscalosoa, AL - The American Football Coaches Association has released its list of All-Americans for the 2024 college football season, with the Alabama Crimson Tide landing three players on the club's Second Team All-American list.
Tyler Booker was named an All-American, marking the second publication to name him an All-American this season.
Booker did not allow a single sack this season in 176 pass blocking snaps according to Pro Football Focus.
Booker is viewed as a likely first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft and could be the first Alabama player off the board. He is currently rated as the No. 56 overall prospect in the 2025 NFL draft according to ESPN's big board of players, and the No. 1 offensive guard in the draft.
In addition to Booker, Alabama defensive back Malachi Moore was also named a second-team All-American, giving Moore his first All-American designation this season.
Moore was a critical part of the success of Alabama's defense in 2024, totaling 70 tackles, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and one sack in 2024.
According to the Bleacher Report, Moore is viewed as a ball-hawking safety with very good range as a deep safety. Bleacher Report grades Moroe as a second-round prospect in the 2025 NFL draft.
Ryan Williams, Alabama's freshman phenom at wide receiver, earned his first All-American designation this season as well. Williams ended the season with 45 catches for 857 yards and eight receiving touchdowns while adding 48 yards and two touchdowns rushing. Williams is expected to be the top target returning to the Crimson Tide in 2025. Williams is expected to be one of the top prospects in the 2027 NFL draft.
