Tide Advances to Sweet Sixteen in NCAA Tournament
Following a 73-51 win over eighth-seeded Maryland in the second round of March Madness, Alabama men's basketball advances to the Sweet Sixteen for the second time in three seasons, ninth in program history.
The Tide will face fifth-seeded San Diego State University in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, March 24.
Head coach Nate Oats, in his fourth year at the reins, is now 4-2 in NCAA Tournament games during his time in Tuscaloosa.
