The United Way of West Alabama is hosting the 'Stock Up the Truck Donation Drive' for Compassion Coalition on January 27th and 28th

A press release from the United Way reads,

As the temperatures begin to drop, Compassion Coalition will open its warming stations to those in our community without a home or sufficient means to stay warm tonight and during the freezing days ahead. Items needed include blankets, toilet paper, crock pots, size 2 baby diapers and adult large and extra-large diapers.

Donations can be made at the United Way office in downtown Tuscaloosa (2720 6th Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401) until 6 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. The big United Way truck is parked in front of the office for convenient drop-offs. Donors may also bring their gifts inside if they would like a receipt for their donation.
