Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper took at trip north ahead of the NFL Draft to spend some time at ESPN and go through the company's 'car wash.'

After making his first appearance on Mike and Mike in the Morning, the projected top-5 pick joined Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless on First Take. It will come as no surprise to Alabama fans that Cooper's appearance was humble and soft-spoken - a stark contrast to the usual tone of that show.

During the conversation, he explained why he won't attend the NFL Draft in Chicago this year, instead choosing to stay at home with his family. Of course the debate over who is the best wide receiver in this year's draft class - Cooper or West Virginia's Kevin White - to which the Miami native said he doesn't compare himself to other players because that could be detrimental to his performance.

Cooper shattered the Alabama record books during the 2014 season under offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin, and he told the show that the experience he gained last year will help him be successful at the next level.

"I was in a pro-style offense, I got moved around a lot so I know how to play each wide receiver position, and we went against the best week in and week out," Cooper told the show.

For the record, Stephen A. Smith says he would take Cooper over White.
