Alabama men's basketball guard Aden Holloway is entering a second-chance program to dismiss his two felony drug charges, according to court documents.

In court documents obtained by Tide 100.9 and the Tuscaloosa Thread, Aden Holloway and his attorney, Mr. Jason Neff, signed the documents on April 30, agreeing that Holloway will:

 

- Pay all court-ordered sums at $150 per month
- Complete 50 hours of community service (No less than 10 hours per month until complete)
- Pass random Drug/alcohol screenings
- Attend classes of education and participate in an exit interview
- Submit a meaningful letter acknowledging responsibility for the charged criminal act

 

Holloway was charged with First Degree Possession of Marijuana, three counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and failure to affix a tax stamp following an arrest in March 2026, prior to Alabama's matchup with Hofstra in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Following his arrest, Holloway was suspended indefinitely from the Alabama men's basketball team by head coach Nate Oats. The marijuana possession and failure to affix a tax stamp charges are both felonies in the state of Alabama.

 

If Holloway completes the second-chance program, then all charges and the case against him will be dismissed. According to the court documents, failure to complete the program will result in a conviction in the case.
