Saturday's loss to the Auburn Tigers was far too reminiscent of another Iron Bowl loss for the Crimson Tide. But, as AJ McCarron details, the sun has risen and a chance to repay the Tigers awaits in one year's time.

Still, "it's funny how that one second always seems to show up on the clock when we play there," as McCarron put it.

Be sure to check out the full interview with former three-time national championship winning quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide AJ McCarron as he joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss the Iron Bowl outcome and more.

During the conversation McCarron gives his take on Mac Jones' performance vs. the Tigers and the similarities between the two number 10s, and discusses the standard the Crimson Tide are held to during the Nick Saban dynasty, and how he reflects on his championship filled time at Alabama, sacrifices.

"That's what makes playing at the University of Alabama so special it's because of the standard that came before me... and then all the way up until now. It's just the standard of playing there. Guys knowing that and wanting to come there to compete year in and year out to achieve that ultimate goal."

He also discussed how Nick Saban has changed to show a more emotional side that McCarron saw as a player, what he sees with the evolution of college football offenses, and his thoughts on Tua Tagovailoa and his lasting legacy at Alabama.
