Alabama Guard Jusaun Holt Enters The Transfer Portal
Another Alabama basketball player is opting to enter the transfer portal in search of another home. Freshman Jusaun Holt took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce his intention to enter the transfer portal after just one season with the Crimson Tide.
Holt joins forwards Keon Ambrose-Hylton and Alex Tchikou in the transfer portal after the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.
The 6-foot-6 guard played in 22 games for the Crimson Tide in his initial season averaging .6 points, and 1.5 rebounds per game. His best performance came in and SEC Tournament loss to Vanderbilt in which he scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Holt and head coach Nate Oats did butt heads during the season, resulting in the former 4-star prospect serving a one-game suspension for violation of team rules. Holt was reinstated to the team shortly after missing the trip to LSU.
Holt chose to come to to The Capstone over offers from Georgia, Wake Forrest, Xavier, Miami and Washington.
