Alabama Players, Coaches Praise Newcomers
Tuscaloosa, Ala. - Alabama finished the 2025 recruiting class with yet another top-five recruiting class, signing three five stars and 14 four stars in December during the early signing period.

Two newcomers have already caught the eyes of the Crimson Tide fanbase, with Dijon Lee's (five-star cornerback) length towering above the rest of the Alabama defensive back room earlier in the week.
On Friday, Lee earned praise from Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack.
"He looks like a corner right now. He looks like a really long-ass corner. But he's got really good feet, really good maturity that reminds me of Zabien [Brown]. I don't want to put too much pressure on him early, but he has the demeanor that would indicate a freshman could come in and contribute."
Wommack also praised the coaching job by Alabama's secondary coach Maurice Linguist.
"Mo does such a great job with just the discipline and detail of those guys," Wommack said.
Freshmen cornerbacks still have a long way to develop though, as Wommack pointed out on Friday.
"I think he had a pick today, which is great. But he gave up a ball today as well, so those are the give and take of 'how will he respond to that' as spring goes on," Wommack said on Lee.
Dijon Lee was not the only freshman who earned praise on Friday. Freshman wide receiver Lotzier Brooks has made impressive catches, catching the eye of Alabama safety Bray Hubbard.
Brooks (No. 17) has made at least two impressive sky-high catches in spring practice so far, earning high remarks from safety Bray Hubbard.
"He's doing really great. That dude's fast," Hubbard said. "That sucker, he's hard to keep up with, I will say. I ain't even gonna lie."
Brooks was a four-star receiver from New Jersey who signed with Alabama in December. The 5-foot-10, 188-pound receiver continues to draw big comparisons as he prepares for his first season of college football.
