Alabama softball is ranked No. 11 in the latest national polls, released Tuesday.

Despite a 3-1 outing at last weekend’s Easton Bama Bash, splitting two contests against then-9th ranked Florida State, Alabama fell one spot in the USA Today/NFCA poll but went up two spots in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll. The Tide also claimed wins over Georgia State and Northern Iowa last weekend in Tuscaloosa to improve its season record to 9-2, with both losses coming against top-15 teams in Florida State and Baylor.

Twelve SEC teams are either ranked in the top 25 or are receiving votes. Ranked SEC teams include Florida (#2/2), Tennessee (#5/5), Texas A&M (#7/T6), LSU (#10/10), Alabama (#11/11), Auburn (#12/12), Georgia (#14/14), Ole Miss (#17/18), South Carolina (#20/21), Kentucky (#24/22) and Mississippi State (#RV/25). Arkansas is receiving votes outside the top 25 in both polls.

This weekend, The Tide heads to Seattle, Wash., for the Husky Classic, hosted by top-ranked Washington. Alabama will play two games against the Huskies as well as BYU, Portland State and Northwestern. Action begins Friday, March 2.
