Alabama Volleyball Closes Weekend in Montgomery, Prepares for Roadrunner Classic
Tuscaloosa, Ala. – The Alabama volleyball team wrapped up their weekend in Montgomery with a four-set loss on Saturday but remains focused as they prepare for the upcoming Roadrunner Classic in San Antonio.
Despite a strong effort, the Crimson Tide fell short in their final match of the weekend. The team showed resilience and competitive spirit, but ultimately could not secure the victory. This defeat comes after an impressive rally on Friday, where Alabama overcame tournament host Alabama State in a thrilling match.
Next up, Alabama heads to San Antonio for the Roadrunner Classic, hosted by the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The tournament will feature a series of challenging matches for the Crimson Tide. Their schedule includes:
• Friday, Sept. 13 vs. Sam Houston at 12:30 p.m. CT
• Friday, Sept. 13 at UTSA at 7 p.m. CT
• Saturday, Sept. 14 vs. Central Arkansas at 11 a.m. CT
