Noted Hillcrest High School alumnus Brian Robinson, Jr. had himself a career day against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday as he helped the Washington Commanders push to 7-5 on the season.

Robinson's bruising running has been instrumental to the Commanders recent 6-1 run. He has helped the offensive line dominate the line of scrimmage and given the Commanders the ability to hold onto the ball for long periods of time and dominate the time of possession.

Today, Robinson average 5.8 yards per carry as he ran 18 times for 105 yards. He also caught two passes from Taylor Heinicke for 20 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown reception caught the entire league's attention on social media as he knocked over two defenders en route to pay dirt.

That wasn't Robinson's only "angry run," as Kyle Brandt famously calls them. He had a fourth quarter carry go for 10 yards as the Commanders looked to run time off the clock. On the play, he took two big shots back to back from different directions, and still maintained his balance enough to drive three more yards.

For his part, Robinson earned himself his first game ball as an NFL running back.

Oh yeah, and to top it all off, he had a big hat. Like, a really big hat.

Robinson and the Commanders will travel to the Meadowlands next week to face a formidable foe in the New York Giants.
