Former Alabama QB Set to Miss Time with Injury
The Carolina Panthers escaped Metlife Stadium with a 13-6 win over the New York Jets, improving the Panthers' record to 4-3 on the season. However, Metlife Stadium claimed another victim to its injury=riddled history, and the latest put a damper on the Panthers' victory, as starting quarterback Bryce Young left the game due to an injury he suffered in the third quarter.

The Panthers survived without Young, but will face a tougher test this week, as they play the Buffalo Bills without Bryce Young leading the charge. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young suffered a high ankle sprain, and is expected to miss the Panthers' game against the Bills on Sunday.
Veteran backup quarterback Andy Dalton is in line to start for the Panthers as long as Young is out.
Young had led the Panthers to that 4-3 record so far this season, completing 61.6% of his passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns. He's also added 69 yards and one touchdown on the ground so far this season. The former first overall pick out of Alabama had his best career day in week two in a 27-22 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, where he completed 63.6% of his passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns.
During his time at Alabama, Young played three seasons for former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, being named the full-time starter ahead of his sophomore year in 2021. During the 2021 season, Young completed 66.9% of his passes for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns, leading Alabama to a 13-2 record, an SEC Championship win, and an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2021.
