Some people don't live in the state of Alabama and don’t understand the rivalry between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers.

The longtime Iron Bowl rivalry is bigger than the Lakers/Celtics in the NBA or the Yankees/Red Sox on the baseball field, it's not even Ohio State/Michigan, the rivalry between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers is deeper than just football, but that's where the battle line is drawn every year for the Iron Bowl.

But now the Tigers are successful somewhere, and that’s the basketball court as Bruce Pearl took his Tigers to the Final Four where they will meet Virginia. Some Alabama fans believe that it's okay to cheer for the Tigers to win the national championship with the logic that it's bringing a championship to the entire state.

Ryan Fowler, host of The Game, asked his listeners of his show is it okay to root for the Tigers in basketball to bring a championship to the state despite the football rivalry.
