Kalen DeBoer Says Tide Receivers are “Good to Go” During Hey Coach
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - On Wednesday, during his weekly radio show appearance at Baumhower's Victory Grille, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer reiterated an update he provided last week during his weekly teleconference on two of Alabama's injured wide receivers after the bye week last weekend.

Last week, during the SEC coaches' teleconference, DeBoer was asked about injured wide receivers Isaiah Horton and Lotzeir Brooks.
"I expect those guys to be ready to go for LSU," DeBoer said during his weekly SEC teleconference last week. "Lotty was especially rolling out there today and making good progress. Isaiah just got dinged up there in the first half of the game, and he's making good progress, too."
Tonight, during 'Hey Coach', DeBoer reiterated that the receiver duo would be good to go on Saturday for the Tide's matchup with the LSU Tigers.
"They'll be good to go," DeBoer kept it short on Wednesday night.
Lotzeir Brooks, a true freshman, missed Alabama's 29-22 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks with a lower-body injury he suffered during Alabama's 37-20 win over the Tennessee Volunteers. DeBoer said two weeks ago, ahead of Alabama's 29-22 win over South Carolina, that Brooks, "didn't turn the corner like we probably thought he was gonna do as the week went on."
Isaiah Horton left Alabama's win over South Carolina late in the first half and did not return to the game in the second half.
Horton has caught 22 passes for 272 yards and five touchdowns so far during his first season with the Crimson Tide after transferring to Alabama from Miami. Brooks, a former three-star recruit from New Jersey, has caught 16 passes for 255 yards.
Alabama will face the LSU Tigers this Saturday, November 8, at 6:30 p.m. CT.
