
DeVonta Smith Shines Bright In His Fifth Season With The Eagles
Former Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been having an impressive season in his fifth year with the Philadelphia Eagles, continuing to show the skill and consistency that made him a standout at Alabama.

Over the past four weeks, Smith has been one of the league's most productive receivers, ranking second in the NFL in receiving yards during that span with 430 yards on just 29 targets, trailing Ja'Marr Chase, who leads with 456 yards. Overall this season, Smith sits sixth in the league in total receiving yards with 588 yards, two touchdowns, and 44 receptions, proving to be a reliable and explosive weapon for the Eagles.
Since being drafted by the Eagles in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft as the No. 10 pick, Smith has steadily developed into one of the NFL's premier wide receivers. His rookie campaign set the tone, as he broke the Eagles' franchise record for most receiving yards by a rookie with 916. During the 2022-2023 season, he helped the Eagles reach Super Bowl LVII, recording 95 catches for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season, followed by a 100-yard performance in the Super Bowl against Kansas City.

During the Eagles Super Bowl LIX (2024-2025) win, Smith led the team with 69 receiving yards and a touchdown.
