Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been ruled out for the Eagle's matchup against Dallas due to a concussion.

Hurts suffered a concussion early in the first quarter against the Commanders last Sunday following a hit from Washington linebackers Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu.

Hurts would not re-enter the game.

Former first-round pick Kenny Pickett would replace Hurts, racking up 143 yards, with one touchdown and one interception in place for Hurts.

Pickett was announced as the starter for Sunday's game against Dallas.

The Eagles are one of four NFC squads to have clinched a playoff spot; however, in the last two weeks of the season, Philadelphia will be fighting for the division title and home-field advantage in the first round.
