Biggest Question This Upcoming Season for the Crimson Tide

With the Alabama's second scrimmage in the books, and with the Florida State Seminoles less than two weeks away, the Crimson Tide have many question heading into the 2017 season.

ESPN College GameDay reporter Maria Taylor joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to give some insight on the question Alabama fans are carrying over to Atlanta in September.

"I think it's still just the progression of Jalen Hurts," Taylor said. "I think everyone wants to know, what's the next stage in the evolution of Jalen Hurts. We know he's received critiques, we know he can handle pressure in the spotlight, so what is the next level, what is that sophomore season going to look like?"

Hurts' first season with the Crimson Tide was sure memorable throwing for 2,780 yards and 23 passing touchdowns with 9 interceptions. He was also dangerous on the run rushing for 954 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The biggest question for Hurts going into his second season is with new offensive coordinator Brain Daboll, will Hurts have those same yards in the running game, or will he stay in the pocket and use the talent he has around him.

With two star-calbier running back in the back field with Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris, Hurts question going into the 2017 season is if he can stay in the pocket and throw the football downfield? That questions will be answered early on when the Crimson Tide opens with a tough Florida State Seminoles defense on September 2nd in Atlanta.
