Alabama Offensive Tackle Kadyn Proctor Named Outland Trophy Semifinalist
On Wednesday, Alabama football left tackle Kadyn Proctor was named a semifinalist for the Outland Trophy, presented annually to the nation's best interior lineman.

Proctor was announced as a semifinalist by the Football Writers' Association of America, and is the only player in the SEC named a semifinalist for the award. Proctor is joined by six other linemen, including four from the Big Ten, one from the Big 12, and one from the American Conferences:
Spencer Fano, Offensive Tackle - Utah
Logan Jones, Center - Iowa
Iapani Laloulu, Offensive Lineman - Oregon
Kayden McDonald, Defensive Tackle - Ohio State
Kadyn Proctor, Offensive Tackle - Alabama
Landon Robinson, Defensive Tackle - Navy
Carter Smith, Offensive Tackle - Iowa
Proctor has helped block for an Alabama passing offense that has the 11th-best production in the country, averaging 294.7 yards per game, which is third in the SEC. Proctor has allowed one quarterback hit since September 6 and has been the second-highest graded offensive tackle, according to PFF.
Proctor earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week after Alabama's 24-21 win against the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, Georgia. he did not allow a sack or a hurry in the victory over Georgia.
