Dijon Lee Calls Game for Alabama Over Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was hired in January 2023 after the retirement of Nick Saban. One of the first players DeBoer and the Crimson Tide's coaching staff offered when they got to Tuscaloosa was a five-star cornerback from Mission Viejo, California, in Dijon Lee.

Lee then committed to Alabama in June of 2024 and signed with the Crimson Tide as a member of the Tide's 2025 recruiting class. On Saturday, he called game for Alabama, intercepting the final pass of Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula to seal the 27-24 victory for Alabama.
No doubt about it, Lee is a baller in this secondary for Alabama, and head coach Kalen DeBoer said as much in his postgame comments.
"Dijon is in the rotation. He's a playmaker. He's hard to throw around," DeBoer said after Alabama's 27-24 win over Missouri. "He tackles well, and so just we trust him. He came in last spring, and you could see he was going to be in the rotation, more than likely, and just has continued to get better and better. And you know, this is the first game we have obviously felt good with him out there all season long."
Lee took his lumps early in the season, getting beaten by Squirrel White and playing minimal snaps afterward in Alabama's week one loss to Florida State, which feels like a lifetime ago. He continued to work, and the five-star freshman showed why he was so highly rated on Saturday against the Tigers.
