Shocking NFL Trade Sends Former Bama Great Back to Team that Drafted Him
In a shocking move, the NFL has re-taken center stage in the sports world with the latest blockbuster trade in the AFC.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Miami Dolphins have traded former first-round pick Jalen Ramsey to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ramsey also got a $1.5 million raise for the 2025 season. The move comes after Ramsey asked for a trade months ago from the Dolphins. The question that was then on everyone's mind was, "What did Pittsburgh give up?"
Pittsburgh gave up one of the best defensive backs in the NFL, with three-time All-Pro safety, and former Alabama superstar, Minkah Fitzpatrick, heading back to Miami. The Dolphins originally drafted Fitzpatrick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft.
More details continued to emerge about the trade, with the Steelers also getting tight end Jonnu Smith and extending his contract, while the Dolphins got a late-round pick.
Fitzpatrick now returns to where his NFL career started, with the Miami Dolphins drafting him No. 11 overall in 2018 out of Alabama. Fizpatrick spent three seasons with the Crimson Tide, winning two national championships, being named a two-time All-American, and winning the Chuck Bednarik and Jim Thorpe Awards during his junior season.
Once he was drafted by the Dolphins, Fitzpatrick quickly cemented himself as a superstar in the NFL. During his seven-year NFL career so far, Fitzpatrick has been named an All-Pro three times and the Pro Bowl four times. He has accumulated 608 career tackles, 54 pass breakups, 20 interceptions, eight tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and six defensive touchdowns.
