COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Crimson Tide hammer seven home runs as they slug their way to a sweep against Texas A&M in College Station.

Game One: 6-4 win

Tied at 4-4 in the top of the ninth with two outs, Kade Snell and Brennen Norton launched back-to-back jacks to push Alabama in front 6-4, a lead the Crimson Tide wouldn't relinquish.

Starter Zane Adams gave Alabama an extremely strong start Friday, scattering seven hits across 5.2 innings, only allowing one earned run while punching out four Aggies batters.

Bryce Fowler and Will Hodo also showed up big for the Crimson Tide lineup, knocking a pair of two RBI home runs of their own.

In relief, Carson Ozmer came up big for the Crimson Tide, tossing 2.2 innings of one-run baseball to keep the Aggies at bay. Matthew Heiberger added 0.2 innings of relief, allowing zero runs and two hits.

Rob Vaughn following Alabama's opening 6-4 win against Texas A&M:

“Great start to SEC play tonight. I challenged the guys before the game to win the toughness battle and they were great tonight. What a great start for Zane Adams in his home state and just gritty at-bats all night long. The environment was electric tonight and the boys responded like I knew they would. I’m proud of the effort and on to the next one.”

Game Two: 6-2 win

Looking to clinch a road series win in the SEC opener, the Crimson Tide were tied in the ninth inning once again in Aggieland. Down to the last out and bases loaded, Will Hodo achieved every young baseball player's dream, lasering a pitch 107 mph off the bat out of Olsen Field to push the Crimson Tide out in front of the Aggies 6-2 to earn the series victory.

Justin Lebron scored the other two runs of the afternoon, one via a solo shot in the sixth inning and a bases-loaded RBI single in the seventh.

Riley Quick gave the Crimson Tide a lights-out start, pitching 5.0 innings of shutout baseball, scattering a hit and two walks while ringing up six batters.

Tyler Fay, Hagan Banks, and Matthew Heiberger combined to close the game over the next four innings. Heiberger earned the win after only allowing one hit over 1.1 innings to shut the door on Texas A&M.

Game Three: 2-0 win

The story of the day Sunday was starter Bobby Alcock. The right-hander scattered four hits across seven innings — the longest outing for a Crimson Tide pitcher this season — striking out eight while keeping the Aggies off the board. Alcock's performance earned him a Co-SEC Pitcher of the Week bid.

Kade Snell came through on an otherwise quiet day for the Crimson Tide offense, racking up two doubles, a solo home run, and a walk to lead Alabama to a win.

Alabama head coach Rob Vaughn following Alabama's 2-0 win over the Aggies:

“Great weekend for the boys. We challenged them on Friday to be the toughest group on the field and they rang the bell. Our arms were outstanding all weekend and the boys competed their tails off in the box. Proud of the effort, but we have to keep growing. Proud of the boys — now on to South Alabama.”

Alabama returns home to take on South Alabama Tuesday afternoon.
