Alabama Veteran Defensive Lineman Won’t be 100 Percent for FSU
Alabama will already be down two starters on offense, with Jaeden Roberts and Jam Miller expected to miss the Crimson Tide's season opener against the Florida State Seminoles.

Alabama will also be down a veteran on defense on Saturday, according to the latest updates from head coach Kalen DeBoer. During the SEC Coaches' Teleconference on Wednesday, DeBoer provided an update on Alabama defensive lineman Tim Keenan III.
DeBoer was asked if Tim Keenan would be a full go for the Crimson Tide's game against Florida State.
"Yet to be determined," DeBoer said. "Probably not, but we'll see.
"He has a lower-body injury," DeBoer said. "We'll see, but it's a lower-body injury."
Keenan, a fifth-year senior from Birmingham, Alabama, started 12 games for the Crimson Tide last season, making appearances in all 13. He notched 40 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. Keenan pressured the quarterback twice and broke up one pass last season, but received a 90.1 run defense grade from Pro Football Focus last season, good for sixth among interior defenders.
Keenan was voted a captain by Alabama's players last week, alongside center Parker Brailsford, quarterback Ty Simpson, and linebacker Deontae Lawson. Keenan mans the middle of the Crimson Tide defense, but if he can't go against Florida State, the Crimson Tide could see Florida transfer Kelby Collins or redshirt freshman Jeremiah Beaman.
