The NFL Draft is set to kick off this Thursday, and while we all think we know who will go in the first round, and even the second round on Friday for that matter, who are players in this draft getting overlooked and could have an excellent future in the NFL?

    Dri Archer

    Kent State University

Dri Archer is what some would call a "scat back." He isn't tall, he isn't big, but doesn't the popular saying go like this: "Speed kills"? Archer ran a lightning fast 4.16 second 40 yard dash (official)... Repeat, a 4.16 second 40 yard dash... That's so fast that it's almost unbelievable. He is rated as the 17th best wide receiver in the draft, and is projected to get drafted around the 3rd round. Regardless, in the ever changing world of the sport of football, Archer is a can't miss if a team is simply looking for an instant homerun threat.

    Lache Seastrunk

    Baylor University

Running backs are often considered now an expenditure in the NFL, and recent first round picks haven't exactly panned out to their full potential. Seastrunk definitely doesn't have a first round grade, but that shouldn't matter for running backs. He tested well in the combine and was one of the most explosive backs in college football the past two years. Whoever drafts Seastrunk will be getting a player who can easily become a gamechanger.

    Kevin Norwood

    University of Alabama

"Mr. Clutch" is all that needs to be said for one of the most integral parts of the Crimson Tide the past 4 years. Norwood has some of the best hands in the entire draft, and although he may lack that game changing speed, he runs routes well, and just ask A.J. McCarron who he always looked for when the game was on the line...

    Terrance Mitchell

    University of Oregon

Often overshadowed by the opposite standout cornerback in Ifo Ekpre-Olomu at Oregon, Terrance Mitchell is a talented athlete playing as a defensive back. Playing in the Pac-12 in college helped solidify his pass defending abilities, but he doesn't possess top end speed and may not have played against the most physical of receivers in the Pac-12. He may be a work in progress, but if he fine tunes his skills, he could easily be the steal of the draft.

    Zach Mettenberger

    Louisiana State University

It took a while, but Mettenberger showed signs of his true abilities during his final season at LSU. He possesses a strong arm and has the ideal build of an NFL quarterback: standing at 6'5" and 224 lb. He currently has a 4th round grade and may even drop further down since quarterback isn't a huge position need for many teams. However, he's shown that he can get better over the course of his career, and you may not find a tougher quarterback anywhere.
