A battle of the Carolinas kicks off the season for the Gamecocks. After a successful season last year, finishing second in the SEC East, South Carolina looks to be on the top this year. Their possible journey to the top starts Saturday.

Ole Miss kicks off its season out of conference this year. After a 6-6 season last year, the Rebels look to make some noise in the SEC West this year. With a new look team, Matt Luke enters his second year with cautious optimism.

The Kentucky Wildcats look to contend in the SEC East this year. While they started off strong last year, the Cats faltered in the second half of the year and ended on a sour note with a bowl loss. The Wildcats begin their season against the Chippewas.

Arkansas had an interesting offseason. Gone is Bret Bielema, in is Chad Morris from SMU. With uncertainty abound, the Razorbacks take the field against Eastern Illinois, hoping to turn a few heads.

It's a new year for the Gators, as Dan Mullen comes to Florida from Mississippi State. After Mullen's success with Tim Tebow, Gator fans hope he can do the same with QB situation. Will the Gators stun in the their first showing?

Vanderbilt enters the season with high hopes. After starting off strong last season, they were derailed in the 4th week and began to stumble from there. But with a win over the rival Vols, the Commodores ended on the right foot. Can Vanderbilt shock the East this season?

Georgia came incredibly close last year to winning a national title. But that was last year and now a clean slate has been presented for the Bulldogs. They start their new season against the Governors of Austin Peay.

LSU and Miami met in a battle of two different coaching situations. Mark Richt has brought the U back to prominence, while many LSU fans are questioning Ed Orgeron at the helm. Can LSU pull off the upset? Or will Miami dominate the Tigers?
