Athletes who compete for the University of Alabama come from all over the world and represent many races and socioeconomic statuses. Byrne calls for us to support all student-athletes and people of color no matter the setting.

It is horrific the events that have transpired in the nation leading to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbrey's deaths. We cheer for athletes of all races in Bryant-Denny Stadium and Coleman Coliseum and other local venues. We should be unified off the playing field and support the equal treatment of all individuals regardless of race.
