Alabama Baseball Win vs Tennessee Moves Tide Up

The Crimson Tide's Baseball team showed out this past weekend playing phenomenally against another great team in the Tennessee Vols. The Vols got out in front of the three-game series winning the first game on Friday 11-3. The Tide rolled after that winning game two on Saturday 6-2 and game three on Sunday 7-6 taking the series home, and ultimately proving the Tide is a force in the league this year.

The series win propelled the Tide up three spots from #14 to #11in the D1 baseball rankings. This gives the SEC seven teams in the top 11 of the rankings, priming the SEC tournament to yet again be as challenging as ever.

The Tide has a long road stretch ahead, starting this week off in Montgomery against Alabama State on Tuesday then going to Athens, Georgia to face the Bulldogs in a three-game series starting Friday, finishing off in Huntsville against Belmont.
