Alabama Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule
The Alabama soccer team announced it’s 2022 schedule on Friday. The 20-game schedule features one exhibition match, nine non-conference matches, and ten conference matches.
The Tide will start the season at home with an exhibition match against Vanderbilt on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. CT.
Alabama kicks off the regular-season down south with two away games against Florida Atlantic (Aug. 18) and Miami (Aug. 21).
The Tide comes back home to face off against Southern Miss (Aug. 25) and Clemson (Aug. 28) before hitting the road for three straight games. The Tide will travel up north for games at BYU (Sept. 1), Utah (Sept. 4), and Utah Valley (Sept.6).
Alabama will then play three straight home games including two non-conference matches against North Alabama (Sept. 11) and Chattanooga (Sept. 18).
In conference play, the Tide will welcome five SEC foes to Tuscaloosa including South Carolina (Sept. 15), Texas A&M (Sept. 25), Ole Miss (Oct. 6), Arkansas (Oct. 16), and Florida (Oct. 23).
The conference road schedule features games at Tennessee (Sept. 22), Georgia (Sept. 30), LSU (Oct. 9), Mississippi State (Oct. 20), and Auburn (Oct. 27).
The SEC Tournament will be held in Pensacola, Fla. from Oct. 31-Nov. 6.
The Alabama soccer team finished last season 11-10-1 and 5-4-1 in conference play. The Tide picked up its first NCAA Tournament win in program history last year, defeating Clemson 1-0 in the first round before falling to BYU 1-4 in the second round.
